If you're someone who inks traditional drawings before coloring them, like me, scan them when you're finished them, in as high quality as you can. If you don't have a scanner, a good camera will do.
Why am I saying this?
Well, I had done about 5+ hours penciling and inking one of my commissions, with an hour or two of research in anatomy behind it, only to somehow lose it, which is extremely rare for me. Thankfully, I have a habit of scanning all of my inked works before coloring them, and scanning them when they're finished. I usually have the scans saved on my computer and on my USB stick. So I was able to find it on my USB (hadn't put it on my computer for some reason), put it into an OpenOffice document and print it out, looked almost as good as the original. So relieved.
I try to scan/take pictures of all of my artwork, so that I can put it on my iPod and show them to people who are interested in my art, and as backups. And, of course, to post on dA and other sites! Scanning can save you a lot of stress if you happen to lose a drawing.

Not Back Quite Yet
Hey, everyone!
So I managed to grab a computer to post some updates. No new drawings to post, unfortunately. Gotta love iPads with no SD card slot. :P
I am planning on being back sometime in early July. There will be many drawings uploaded then, but not a lot of fantasy creatures. I've been taking AP Studio Art, so there's not a lot of space there to draw dragons. Expect lots of charcoal drawings of people. And some new oil paintings!
I hope everyone out there is doing well, can't wait to come back here again!

What's with the new dA logo? It's kinda wierd.
Transformers 4: Interesting Thing About Lockdown
Hey, everyone, so, little update before I talk about the subject of this journal.
Commissions are getting done, I will be able to post one after less than an hour of work on it, I will be getting it done tonight and might have it posted tomorrow. Another is being colored, and the remaining two are soon to be inked. Horray for slow commissions. Thanks, AP Art. =_=
So, Lockdown.
For those who have seen Transformers: Age of Extinction, you all know him and his awesome accent and his slight funniness (''I have a saying: I DON'T CARE'' for example). But if you're someone who hoards pictures of Transformers for refs for robots (I have way too ma
Back Again
Well, back from San Diego. Lots of fun with my family, got burnt, and was unable to work on the commissions very much...I have so little time to work on them...Reason being is that I'm doing a college/university-level art course at school, I have to do 5 projects before school starts, and also doing another course that has to be finished by early August. Very busy summer. But I'm getting some progress on the commissions, in fact doing them in bits and pieces has helped me make them look better than what they originally were going to look like. :)
Got Manga Studio 5! Yes, I do have Illust Studio, but it's on my PC which is almost 3 years old
